This data is collected from public sources and pertains to businesses, not individual users of our platform.

- Service delivery: To provide, operate, and maintain the Breakground platform, including company search, intent scoring, and alerts.
- Authentication: To verify your identity and manage account access through Clerk.
- AI processing: To generate entity resolution and AI-powered account briefs using Anthropic's Claude, helping you identify sales opportunities.
- Communications: To send transactional emails such as alert notifications and account updates via Resend.
- Customer support: To provide real-time support through our Tidio chat widget (loaded only with your consent).
- Improvement: To analyze usage patterns and improve the platform's features and performance.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase, with encryption at rest and in transit. Our application is hosted on Railway. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
